Belvédère Maastricht

The Belvédère Maastricht project is a major area development in the northwest of Maastricht. The area roughly extends from Boschstraat/Maagdendries in the city center to the Belgian border near Smeermaas. Covering nearly 300 hectares, it includes former industrial estates such as Sphinx, Vredestein/Radium, Bosscherveld, old fortifications, and unique natural landscapes. Efforts to restructure this remarkable part of Maastricht have been underway since the turn of the century.
